The Mars Rover? That’s Shut Down, Too

Few agencies will be hit harder during the government shutdown than NASA, which will be forced to furlough 97 percent of its employees. On top of that, it will also have to temporarily stop exploring the planet Mars and halt the Curiosity rover’s investigation of the planet’s surface.

The Martian Rover, now tethered in its berth- Thinks, ” What in heaven is going on on earth?.”
